Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available to those who qualify. We are approved by The Department of Education to participate in the Title IV Financial Aid Programs.
Pell Grants
Pell Grants are award monies which you are not required to pay back based upon a Federal analysis of your income and/or your family income.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible for financial aid, a student must:
- Be admitted as a regular student.
- Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an eligible program on at least a half time basis.
- Be a citizen or an eligible non-citizen.
- Not owe a refund on a FPELL Grant or FSEOG at any school.
- Not be in default on a Perkins Loan or Stafford Loan/SLS/PLUS/Direct Loan at any school.
- Be making satisfactory progress (as defined by the school’s policy) in the program of study.
- Have financial need.
- Be registered for selective service (if a male born on or after January 1, 1960).
- Have signed a statement of educational purpose.
- Have signed a statement of updated information.
- Have a High school diploma, (or its equivalent) a GED.
- Agree to use any federal student aid received solely for educational purposes.
Ability-to-Benefit (ATB) students can no longer become eligible for federal financial aid. However, students who were enrolled in an eligible educational program of study before July 1, 2012 may continue to be considered Title IV eligible under the ATB test.
